The true number of Drone near Misses in the UK
I thought it was time to provide an Airprox update. Many will have seen the news over the last couple months with Drone Near Misses over the Houses of Parliament and calls for action from BALPA (the British Airline Pilots Association). Using publicly available data from the UK Airprox board we have been analysing incident reports since 2014 (just out of pure interest) so this blog provides the results of this filter and gives some real facts about Drone near misses to date.
